Volunteer Opportunities

There are many opportunities for volunteers around the Centre and within the activity areas. If you are interested in volunteering at the Centre please contact the Centre Manager with details of your skills, interests and aspirations.

Receptionist/Administration Assistant - Jean
"I have very bad arthritis, and then I had a stroke. I could not cope with this and I became suicidal. I was referred to the Resource Centre where there are lots of activities to take part in. I chose boccia and bowling and also ran the bingo session on Monday mornings. When I heard the Centre was looking for volunteers in the office I put my name forward and I was accepted. It has changed my life; I became a whole person again and look forward to each day I come to the Centre. Without their help and support I know I would not be here today".
