In Britain about 9 million people (roughly the population of London) are disabled. Nearly half are unemployed and depend on benefit support. Helping them to be independent, self reliant and assisting some of them back into the work place is the aim of Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation.
Our five centres and information service, which specialise in education, vocational training, rehabilitation, skills development. mobility and information services perform vital work and achieve remarkable results – but at a cost.
As we do not receive government support for capital development and creation of new services, your support is vital for the continuation of the Foundation’s work. You could help us make a difference by leaving a legacy, being a corporate partner, making a gift through your trust and / or donating your time.
