We work to rebuild clients’ confidence when interacting within the community to enable them to reintegrate into society.
We encourage clients to have a full and active social life, supporting them as they explore new interests and helping them develop the communication and organisational skills necessary to pursue these interests when they leave the Brain Injury Centre. Clients are supported to make choices about leisure activities and to increase their confidence in the community.
The cognitive, social and behavioural needs of clients are addressed by putting into practice, in the wider community, the skills and strategies learned within the client programme.
