The Brain Injury Centre is a residential Centre offering assessment, post-medical rehabilitation and education to young people aged 16-35 who have disabilities and associated learning difficulties as a result of an acquired brain injury.

We are looking for an energetic and flexible Assistant  Coordinator of Education Department to join an enthusiastic and committed team.

The post holder will:-

  • Assist in the efficient management of the Education Department
  • Undertake line management responsibilities of Education staff as directed.
  • Assist in the supervision of the Recreation and Care staff as they support the clients’ daily programmes of learning
  • Teach the education element of clients’ individual programmes
  • Contribute towards the embedding of basic skills throughout the centre
  • Work with the Coordinator, and other staff , to ensure that the department complies with Ofsted and LSC
